As you roam around the Golden-Isle and encounter various Greek mythology inspired friends as well as foes, you can’t help but wonder what’s to come next? What foe would you have to fight? That’s when you realize that there still is an ending left to explore.
Immortals Fenyx Rising’s ending certainly takes the cake with an action packed boss fight and stunning visuals. The ending reveals a lot of truth about Fenyx’s origin and dives into the lores and myths of the Greek culture.
Playing Fenyx, you realize how she has grown as a person and became the strong warrior she is now. But her brother Ligyron seems to disagree.
Immortals Fenyx Rising ends with Fenyx defeating the titan Typhon. Fenyx also finds the truth about her being a demi-god and Zeus being her actual father and the perpetrator behind turning everyone to stone.
1. Fenyx and Her Brother Ligyron
Fenyx’s brother Ligyron has always seen Fenyx as someone inferior to him and that is proven when Ligyron arrives at the Hall of Gods. He announces to take Typhon, the titan down. Completely disregarding the prophecy of the Gods that it should be of Fenyx’s to claim.
Fenyx plans on confronting her brother after being cheered on by the Gods and finds him at King’s Peak and learns of his treachery. He plans to poison the Gods and is working with Typhon to do so.
After Ligyron’s defeat he confesses that he is not the brave warrior he claims to be and believes in Fenyx’s great potential.
At this point you can definitely understand Ligyron’s words. People have always pressurized him and counted on him to succeed, disregarding his own feelings completely. That might have made him decide to shake hands with the enemy as that would promise him success.
2. Confronting Typhon
Typhon is a relentless opponent. He keeps coming back to attack even after his defeat, tries to manipulate Fenyx with words and lies and even plans to poison the Gods.
During their first encounter, Typhon lies to Fenyx about her true father. He tells her that Hermes is her father. But that also turns out to be false.
After the first fight with Typhon while you are delivering the recovered poison to Zeus, you learn that Zeus is your actual father.
Typhon makes a comeback and challenges you to another fight. But in typical Immortals Fenyx Rising fashion you first have to solve a lot of puzzles before even reaching the fighting arena.
Triggering the cutscene, you find Typhon in the arena ready to attack. Make sure you have a lot of time, phosphor skins and a lot of health potions in your inventory because you’ll be needing those.
The boss fight is definitely on the lengthy side and sort of gets repetitive towards the end but nonetheless Typhon is ultimately defeated after this.
After his defeat, the Gods will appear by Fenyx’s side and try to dispose of Typhon. Once again, you can see Fenyx’s true kindness when she asks the Gods to spare his life.
3. Zeus and Prometheus
Finally, you learn the truth about the past events through Zeus questioning Prometheus. You learn that Prometheus’s brother Atlas was the one to struck Fenyx’s ship, release Typhon and help Prometheus in his plan to teach Zeus a lesson.
Prometheus had been telling Zeus the tale of Fenyx’s life but he lied about her father. Zeus was the father of Fenyx while Thetis was her mother.
Zeus also confessed to turning everyone to stone and when confronted by Fenyx he apologized to her.
It was rather funny to watch the giant God say sorry to little Fenyx but this is also a proof that Fenyx is Zeus’s true daughter seeing how she scolded him for lying.
4. The Aftermath and Fenyx’s New Life
Now that Fenyx is officially Zeus’s daughter, she joins the Gods and starts her new life. Zeus also gifts her a phoenix phosphor.
Fenyx accepts her gift and warns Zeus that she will be watching his every action.
Later, Ligyron is seen bringing the key to Prometheus but Zeus strictly orders him to tell Prometheus Fenyx’s actual story as punishment for the lies he had uttered.
But, if you are catching up to the storyline wondering about the end of the game, here is a brief version.

5. About Immortals Fenyx Rising
Sharing the same developer DNA with Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, Immortals Fenyx Rising is yet another role-playing game by Ubisoft that will transcend you back in time.
The game takes players back to the days of Greek mythology where the gods have been captured by an abhorrent monster, Typhon.
In this gutsy adventure-packed game, it is only Fenyx, the “forgotten” hero who can fight the brawny, nerve-racking foes and be the last ray of hope to save the Gods.
