The second season of All Rise will feature a lot more of Head DDA Thomas Choi. Reggie Lee, the actor who plays the strict but fair lawyer on the show, has been promoted to a series regular for the upcoming second season. He appeared in thirteen episodes of the first season of the legal drama, which premiered on CBS in September last year.
The show focuses on the personal and professional lives of lawyers, judges and other law officials of the Los Angeles county courthouse. While the show received generally positive reviews from the critics, it has not really made a mark in the legal drama genre with its first season. However, it has the potential to mature and find its place with the upcoming season.
Apart from Reggie Lee, the show has upped Lindsay Gort, who plays Amy Quinn, to a series regular. Samantha Powell, a clerk in the DA’s office in the series, will also be appearing more in the second season as actress Audrey Corsa has joined Gort and Lee as a regular.
Simone Missick, the most appreciated act of the first season, will return as Judge Lola Carmichael in the second season. Wilson Bethel, Marg Helgenberger, Jessica Camacho, J.Alex Brinson, Lindsay Mendez and Ruthie Mills are also scheduled to return in season two.
The second season of All Rise will premiere on November 16th on CBS.
If you have not caught up with the first season, stream it now on CBS All Access.
