Acquiring Ashes of War in Shadow of the Erdtree DLC follows a familiar pattern like the main game: defeat bosses, exchange remembrances, hunt Scarab Beetles, and scavenge designated areas for loot.

Once in your possession, assign these powerful abilities at any Site of Grace, but be mindful that each Ash is specifically designed for a particular weapon.

Ash of War: Raging BeastStep with the swiftness of a beast, leap high and slash foe from above. The initial step can be taken forward, backward, left, or right. A strong attack allows for a follow-up attack.Beast ClawsFrom the Bridge Leading to the Village Site of Grace, head north along the path until you reach the treeline. Then, scan the eastern area for a teleporting Teardrop Scarab, which will be carrying the Ash of War.

3. About Elden Ring

Elden Ring is a major title released by FromSoftware in 2022, the developers of Demon’s Souls, Bloodborne, and the Dark Souls franchise. Set in the ‘Lands Between’,  players are on a quest to repair the Elden Ring and become the new Elden Lord.

Shadow of the Erdtree is a full-fledged expansion for Elden Ring added in June 2024. It is a whole new map with new Weapons, Sorceries, Ashes, and Craftables.
