1. What are the different editions of Assassin’s Creed Shadows?
Assassin’s Creed Shadows will launch on March 20, 2025, offering gamers three distinct editions: Standard, Digital Deluxe, and Collector’s Edition, each with unique content and pre-order incentives.
The Standard Edition, priced at $69.99, features the base game along with two exclusive pre-order bonuses. Meanwhile, the Deluxe Edition is available for $89.99 and comes with the base game plus the Deluxe Pack.
Finally, the Collector’s Edition, which retails for $229.99, includes the base game, the Deluxe Pack, Premium Bonuses, and an array of stylish cosmetics and accessories.
1.1 Standard Edition
Pre-ordering the standard version of Assassin’s Creed Shadows will get you the “Thrown to the Dogs” bonus quest and the “Claws of the Awaji” expansion when the game launches.
However, the benefits differ slightly depending on the store. If you reserve a copy at Target, you will get an exclusive Steelbook case. If you order the Limited Edition from Amazon, you will receive the Naoe Sekiryu Character Pack, which includes some in-game cosmetics along with the pre-order quest content.

The Collector’s Edition gives you physical bonus items with your copy of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. This version of the game features all of the digital content included with the other editions of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, alongside the following items:

2. About Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft, set to release in November 15, 2024. The game is the fourteenth major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and the successor to 2023’s Assassin’s Creed Mirage, as well as the first title to be included in the Assassin’s Creed: Infinity platform.
Set in 16th-century Japan towards the end of the Sengoku period, the game will focus on the millennia-old struggle of the Assassin Brotherhood, who fight for peace and liberty, and the Templar Order, who desire peace through control, from the perspective of two protagonists: Naoe, a female shinobi, and Yasuke, an African samurai inspired by the historical figure of the same name.
