All You Need to Know About Asgard: Wealth, Mysteries in AC Valhalla

Asgard is the mythical home to Gods like Odin, Thor etc. and has quite the occurrence in Eivor’s storyline. Asgard’s beautiful structures and architectures stacked with riches, hides many mysteries in them as well. So, if you’re on the lookout for all the wealth and mysteries to discover in Asgard, you might want to refer to this guide.

Firstly, make sure to have a settlement in Ravensthorpe so that you can make Valka the Seer’s hut, and drink her potion to visit Asgard. It’s also advisable to have completed the Asgard story arc before you try to collect all the wealth and mysteries.

Now, let’s get on with all the mysteries, wealths and artifacts found in Asgard.

1. Asgard Wealth

The only Asgard wealth players are able to collect is the Ymir’s Tear Stone found scattered in various places of the AC Valhalla map. Once synchronization of Asgard’s map is complete, players will be able to spot the wealth icons highlighted with yellow on the map.

There are a total of 30 tear stones to collect if you’re aiming for the 100% completion rate in the game.

3	Heimdall’s Tower	Northeastern side of the island between two big teleporters.	Players need to find an explosive urn near the rocky pillars, and detonate it near the rubble wall to get to the chest.
4	Central Asgard	Western side of central island of Asgard, just before the rainbow bridge.	Players need to jump down the waterfalls and swim below the gate to get to the chest.
5	Central Asgard	Northern side of central island, near the lake.	Players need to get to the lake and throw an explosive urn at the rubble door to get to the chest.
6	Central Asgard	Inside Ivaldi’s Forge on the southern side of central island.	Players need to jump down an opening and trigger a ladder down to get to the chest.
7	Central Asgard	Inside Ivaldi’s Forge on the southern side of central island.	Another wealth is located inside the Forge. Players need to find a small opening and crawl into it to get to the chest inside a secret room. Tip- Use Odin’s Sight for help.
8	Central Asgard	Near the walls of the Central Asgard Tower.	Players need to jump down from Odin’s Throne and spot a zipline to get to the chest.
9	Central Asgard	Beneath Ymir’s Altar on the eastern side of central island.	Players will need to use a fire arrow or torch to light the toxic gas covering the cave entrance located below the Altar. Once done, they can climb up and find the chest.
10	Central Asgard	Above Ymir’s Altar in the far east, inside a small hut.	Players need to climb some rocks to get to the other side of the rocky pillar. The chest is inside a small hut located in that area.
11	Indre Holm	Northern side of Indre Holm, inside a cave.	Players need to spot a shiny crystal and dive into water from that spot to get to the cave. There players need to align the forcefield to get to the chest.
12	Indre Holm	Southern side of Indre Holm, inside a cave.	Players can only get this wealth during “The Big Finish” quest. Searching the builder’s secret stash, locate a red door and get Loki’s help to break it open and get the chest.
13	Eastern Island	Eastern Island of Asgard, located to the north of Trolltonn area.	Players need to find the wooden hut and break open the back window with arrows to get to the chest.
14	Eastern Island	In between the Trolltonn area and the hut on Eastern Island.	Players need to locate a small pool of water and use a fallen tree to get to the chest. Beware of wolves guarding the area.
15	Eastern Island	Inside Trolltonn area of the Eastern Island, near the ruined tower.	Players can find the chest out in the open and surrounded by Jotun warriors.
16	Eastern Island	At the top of the Trolltonn ice fortress in Eastern Island.	Players need to slowly climb to the top of the fortress, and use the ropes and dry parts of the fortress to get to the chest.
17	Eastern Island	Under the ruined tower in Trolltonn area of Eastern Island.	Players first need to break an ice wall to get down and then crawl into a crevice to get to the chest room. Next, they need to shoot the urn there and create an opening to get to the chest.
18	Eastern Island	Under the ruined tower in Trolltonn area of Eastern Island.	Another Ymir Tear Stone is located in the ruined tower area. Players need to use explosive urns to break the ice wall and get to the chest.
19	Eastern Island	Inside the Well of Udr located in Eastern Island.	Players need to slide down the well to the water and find the chest in a hidden room.
20	Eastern Island	Inside the Well of Udr located in Eastern Island.	Players need to pass through the first green forcefield and head to the long cave hallway. There they need to climb up the platforms to locate the chest.
21	Eastern Island	Coast of Eastern Island on a small shore.	Players need to find the chest hidden amongst the debris near the coast. The chest is hideen under a longship stranded on the beach.
22	Eastern Island	In a watery grove between Eastern and Southern Island.	Players need to locate a small crossing between both islands and swim straight down the debris. There a sunken pillar will indicate the underwater chest.
23	Southern Island	Along the eastern edge of the Southern Island, amongst ruins.	Players need to use explosive arrows or urns to shoot the area blocking the path to the chest, and again use explosions to create the opening leading to it.
24	Southern Island	East of the Southern Island, near a small valley.	Players need to shoot arrows to cut down the objects obstructing the path of an opening leading to the caves.
25	Southern Island	East side of the Southern Island.	This wealth is part of a reward to the world event “Noble Harts.”Players need to follow the stag till it reaches its destination, leaving behind a chest.
26	Southern Island	Inside Utangard Chasm in Southern Island near the entrance.	Players need to solve a moving block puzzle to get to the chest. Just simply move the first 3 blocks forward, and then move sideways to find a small block and pull it. Finally take the long block out to get the chest.
27	Southern Island	Past the moving block puzzle area in Utangard Chasm of Southern Island.	Players need to defeat the Jotuns and then break a wooden ceiling to get to the chest.
28	Southern Island	Inside a large courtyard in Utangard Chasm.	Players first need to defeat the Jotun murderer to get the chest key and then crawl through a small crevice to find a large arena. The chest can be opened after defeating all the Jotuns in the arena.
29	Southern Island	On top of a high mountain in the Southern Island’s Utangard Chasm.	Players need to solve an underwater light puzzle to lower the forcefield before claiming the chest.
30	Western Island	Near the large arena on top of Western Island.	Players need to move the large slab blocking the entrance of the cave and burn through the toxic gas inside to get to the chest.

Offering all 30 Ymir Tear Stones to a certain altar can award you 5 skill points to use in the game.

2. Asgard Mysteries

Asgard has many mysteries and “World Events” for Eivor to discover during the journey to this mythical land. With a total of 9 Mysteries, finding and completing each can award you with much needed XPs.

i. World Event: Njord’s Lament

Players need to take their boat and travel to the island and ferry a drunken man named Njord back to the shore. After Njord is successfully guided to shore, the world event will be completed.

ii. World Event: Food of the Gods

 Players need to go and talk to the hunter to start this world event. The hunter will instruct to kill the giant boar. Killing it will complete this world event.

iii. World Event: Valhalla Bound

Players just need to have a chat with Einherjar and that alone will complete this world event.

iv. World Event: Milk of Humankind

Players need to rescue a cow named Audumbla and destroy any obstruction holding the animal back from escaping. Once Audumbla escapes, the world event will be completed.

v. World Event: Hel’s Well

Players need to either defeat the weeping man or convince him to not go to Helheim. Choosing the “Helheim has nothing for you” is the best option so that you don’t have to waste your time and fight the man.

vi. World Event: Noble Harts

Players just need to follow the stag into the forest while also hiding from Jotun lurking nearby. Once the stag reaches its destination, a chest with Ymir’s Tear Stone will appear and the world event will be completed.

vii. Mystery: Ymir’s Altar Offering

Players need to offer all 30 Ymir’s Tear Stones collected as wealth to Ymir’s altar. Offering all stones will grant XPs and 5 rewards points for players to use.

viii. Mystery: Flyting –Thor

Players need to respond with the correct dialogues to pacify Thor in this mystery event. The dialogues to choose are:

#1 “O beware what you ask for, I will finish the fight.“

#2 “I’m as wise as an owl; you’re a fool of a god.“

#3 “Well, your victory’s not what my visions portend.”

After the conversation is complete, this mystery event will end successfully.

ix. Mystery: Cairn

Players just need to make a Cairn a.k.a a stone structure and pacify the ancestors to complete this mystery event in Asgard.

3. Asgard Artifacts

Asgard does not have any artifacts to be found as of right now. Players will just have to make do with only the mysteries and wealth the area has to offer.
