Apart from Rhaenyra and Alicent, characters such as Prince Aegon and Princess Helaena will also play an important role in the upcoming episodes. The teenage version of Prince Aegon will be played by Ty Tennant, as seen in the new images.

Princess Rhaenyra and Ser Laenor Velaryon

Evie Allen will be playing Princess Helaena, and Rhaenyra’s husband, Ser Laenor Velaryon, has been recast as John Macmillan. Princess Laena Velaryon, who is now married to Daemon Targaryen, will be played by Nanna Blondell.

Additionally, the Episode 6 images also introduce some new young characters, who were born within the 10-year time jump. In one of the images, we also see Daemon Targaryen and Laena Velaryon’s daughters, Baela (Shani Smethurst) and Rhaena (Eva Ossei-Gerning). We will also be introduced to Rhaenyra and Ser Laenor’s children, who were also featured in the new stills.

The good news is that apart from this 10-year time jump, there will be no other major time jumps in the near future. So, viewers can take their time to get accustomed to the new characters and recastings.

New episodes of House of the Dragon premiere on HBO Max at 9 pm every Sunday.
