Abilities are a group of melee and ranged power moves that players can use in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to gain an advantage over their enemies or finish them off in a flashy way. Players cannot access these abilities from the skill tree; instead, they have to collect the “Books of Knowledge” scattered throughout the game’s map to learn these abilities.
Generally, abilities have two levels. Collecting the first book of knowledge gives the player access to the basic ability, while acquiring the second book of knowledge enhances the effect of that ability. Players can only equip four (4) melee, and four (4) ranged abilities at a time, so it is essential to make this choice strategically.
