On January 21, the official website for the Alice Gear Aegis Expansion, the television anime adaptation of Pyramid and COLOPL’s Alice Gear Aegis smartphone game, released a video of the first five minutes of the first episode.
Additionally, the website announced a new cast member, the theme song artists, and the April premiere for the anime.
Miyari Nemoto will play the anime-original character Nodoka Takahata, who is an aspiring Actress. The opening theme song will be performed by Aina Suzuki and the ending theme song is performed by Marina Horiuchi.
The anime will star Manami Numakura as Yotsuyu Hirasaka, Maaya Uchida as Sitara Kaneshiya, and Yui Ishikawa as Fumika Momoshina.
Hirokazu Hanai will return from the previous original video anime to direct the anime at Nomad, and Rikiya Okano will serve as the character designer. Kenji Sugihara will be overseeing the series scripts. Pyramid is again credited with the original work and supervision.
The original Alice Gear Aegis smartphone game launched for iOS and Android devices in January 2018. The console version of the game will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on September 8.
