Okada is the writer and director of the film and is also credited with the original work. The film will star Junya Enoki as 14-year-old protagonist Masamune Kikuiri, while Reina Ueda will play the role of Mutsumi Sagami. Misaki Kuno will be featured as the mysterious girl, Itsumi.
