Alan Wake 2 New Trailer shows a mix of Live-Action & Animated Scenes

Fans were left disappointed after Remedy Entertainment revealed that Alan Wake 2 was being postponed by 10 days. However, to make up for the bad news, the studio has dropped some new content which takes us on an eerie journey and gives us a glimpse into the horrifying, mind-bending world of Alan Wake 2.

There’s a new trailer for Alan Wake 2 which is essentially a compilation of spine-chilling cinematic scenes. The video is composed of both live-action and animated sequences while a dark and gloomy voice narrates in the background.

We see a disoriented Alan Wake struggle to hold on to fragments of reality as darkness closes in. There are also brief clips of gameplay such as how to utilize light sources to fend off vicious creatures. The trailer highlights the disturbing storyline of Alan Wake 2 and shows us the creepy world the game is set in.

Just by the trailer itself, Alan Wake 2 seems like the go-to horror game, filled with a dreadful sense of survival, a nightmarish plot, and more. The game features the perfect visuals and audio to scare anyone out of their minds.

The trailer comes right on the middle of major video game announcements at Gamescom. It gives us an incredible look at what exactly can fans expect when the game finally launches in October. Despite a packed release schedule, many horror fans are looking forward to trying out Alan Wake 2.
