As we head towards Halloween, Alan Wake 2 is back with its second and final eerie expansion called “The Lake House.” This new expansion adds another frightening chapter to the ominous and thrilling lore of Alan Wake universe.
This time players take control of Kiran Estevez in the Lake House, which is a research facility on the shores of Cauldron Lake used by the Federal Bureau of Control. The new DLC will surely give you the spooks you seek, but unfortunately, its fun and thrill will be short-lived!
1. How long does it take to beat Alan Wake 2: The Lake House DLC?
It takes about 2 hours to beat the main storyline of Alan Wake 2: The Lake House DLC. A completionist run, which involves going through all the documents and getting all the trophies, may take another hour to complete.
This new DLC is extremely short, which is also the only negative about this absolutely fantastic expansion. However, on the bright side, if you don’t get enough time to play lengthy story-based RPG games like Elden Ring or Black Myth: Wukong, then you can instead play this DLC in a single sitting and get the same level of satisfaction as any other game.
2. How many trophies are there in Alan Wake 2: The Lake House?
There are a total of 10 trophies in Alan Wake 2: The Lake House. Here is how to get them all:

Murderer and Victim | Speak with Dylan |
Floor by Floor | Read the FBC Files and Documents |
Looking for Release | Complete The Lake House |
If you get all these trophies in The Lake House DLC, you will not just finish the story but 100% complete the expansion. Therefore, if you have a completionist tendency, keep your eyes open for all the opportunities to grab as many trophy achievements as you can!
