Episode 13 Speculations
A second season for Akebi’s sailor uniform has not been confirmed yet, but fans are hopeful. We did not see Akebi “get” with Erika, sigh, but I think they’ve become significantly closer after Akebi’s dance.
The last scene confirms it when Akebi bursts through the classroom doors, and Erika turns out to be the only person she sees.
In the following season, we might see the anime begin with a time leap, where Akebi and her friends are a bit older. It would be wonderful and sad to watch them have fun growing up.

Episode 12 Recap
Akebi is seen getting ready for her dance on stage. She listens to the soundtrack for her dance one last time and then gives it to Usagihara, who says she’s rooting for Akebi.
As Akebi goes on stage, they introduce her to the audience as the girl with the sailor uniform. Akebi is so nervous that she can’t hear anything. So she doesn’t notice it when Erika comes on stage behind her.
Once Erika starts playing the piano, Akebi realizes it is her and begins her dance. The girls watch her dance and realize that she has incorporated the moves from her cheerleading into the choreography.
She remembers when her friends helped her, and her friends remember the times Akebi cheered for them.
Her volleyball team remembers how Akebi continuously injured herself just to give them a win. She remembers her swimming competition, where she was up against Riri. Both of them gave it their all and made beautiful memories.
For the last segment, the piano music is replaced by a violin piece. Usagihara crawls onto the stage, staying behind the piano, and gives Erika the violin. She starts playing immediately so as not to make Akebi miss a beat.
As the dance ends, both of the girls bow to applause. The next day, Akebi is woken up by her sister and realizes that she is late. Her father offers to drive her to the school, but Akebi says she can run. As she opens the door to her class, she sees someone waiting and it’s Erika.
