Ahiru no Sora has been confirmed to have a total of 50 episodes for its first season. With episode 49, we have reached the last episode before the season’s finale!

The latest episode, titled “Last Period,” shows that the game is coming to a close with three minutes left on the clock. Yokohama is in the lead and dominating the court. We then see how Sora attempts to catch up with the leading team. Sora is put on the court, and along with Natsume, they plan to turn the tide of the game’s outcome to their favor.

Sora tells Shigeyoshi not to give up until time runs out. Even though Kuzu High has to score 30 points in three minutes, Mr.Satsuki still believes that they can pull it off. Nanao, however, believes it to be impossible. Nabe responds, saying that three-pointers exist for this very purpose of making comebacks.

Sora counter-attacks his opponents with a double-screen while he passes the ball to Kite. As Kite reminds Fuwa about the ankle-breaker, he proceeds to show him how it’s done, making Fuwa fall. Natsume then passes the ball to Shigeyoshi, who scores for Kuzu.

 The score is now at 103:74 with Yokohama in the lead, while Fuwa is substituted after four foul plays.

Yokohama continues to be in the lead and adds another three points to their already daunting score. Yokohama’s Shiraishi mocks Chiaki, saying that he will put Kuzuryu High in their place as he continues scoring against them.

Yokohama is now leading by a whopping 37 points. Despite giving it their all, Kuzuryu High is beaten by Yokohama with a score of 119 points to their 74 points.

Mr. Satsuki is then seen conversing with Yokohama’s coach Yohito as they convey their gratitude and appreciation for one another. Yohito asks Kuzuryu’s coach, Mr.Satsuki, to have an official match again sometime because his team is still growing and needs to improve even though they managed to win today.

Ahiru no Sora, also known as “Sky of the Duck” or “Sora the Duck,” is a Japanese basketball manga series written and illustrated by Takeshi Hinata. It started serialization in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2003.

The first volume was released on May 17, 2004, and as of September 2019, fifty volumes have been published in Japan by Kodansha. An anime television series adaptation by Diomedéa premiered on October 2, 2019, and is still ongoing. Sora Kurumatani made a promise to his mother, “I will dominate my first high school tournament.” But as he joins the basketball club after entering Kuzuryū High School, he finds out that it has become a stomping ground for delinquents. A place where everything but basketball is done, but with Sora’s genuine zeal for basketball, things begin to stir.
