I. Kite Uses a Martial Art Technique
Knowing that there is a lot to accomplish in very little time, Kuzuryu’s Kite kicks into action. He takes his opponents by surprise when he uses an unforeseen martial arts technique where he “drops his knees”.
This move gives him more speed and his opponent Hyou didn’t even realize when Kite started to make his shot and scores a three-pointer.
All except Hyou are surprised as he remarks that Kite was using the same move that his coach Yohito taught him.
II. Hyou’s Game And The Triple Threat
With the continuous substitution of players as a result of the coach’s calculated strategy, Yokohama now has its triple threat-Kamiki, Fuwa, and Minata on the court at the same time.
Fuwa attempts to score but is swiftly blocked by Momoharu. However, the block is declared a foul by the referee resulting in a free-throw. Then, Kaname joins the game.
The powerful trio makes things difficult for Kuzuryu High and even results in the team having a total of five team fouls which means from that point on, whenever Kuzuryu fouls, Yokohama gets free-throws.
The episode ends with Yokohama having an unimaginable solid 100 points and Kuzuryu doing their best to put up a fight while Kite manages to score yet another three-pointer and encourages Sora to join the game again.
