In their break, Nanao has a mental breakdown but was relieved they didn’t fall back much.

She tells Shigeyoshi to sub in for the first half of the second quarter.

III. Shigeyoshi’s Spectacular Technique

With a change in strategy, Taiei players clear the three-point line and make space for Shiraishi and Fuwa to take charge of the game.

But Nanao realizes they made two crucial mistakes, one not giving Sora instructions when the other team started using the zone attack formation.

The second was not subbing out Shigeyoshi at the right time. Those were the starting point of the vicious chain of disasters that followed for the Kuzu High team!
