Sinister Cloth is a unique material item in Monster Hunter Wilds. It isn’t easy to find by regular methods in the fantasy world, but if you are planning to get a few cool items and an armor set, then you better set out to acquire some of it. Finding it does not involve mindless mining or chest opening, but you do need to have some Ancient Wyvern Coins on you when needed!

1. How to get Sinister Cloth in Monster Hunter Wilds?

Sinister Cloth can be purchased from Gawdygog, the Wudwud from the Scarlet Forest, for 10 Ancient Wyvern Coins in Monster Hunter Wilds.

It can also be traded from some of the Kilama villagers found in the Windward Plains region. However, the merchant’s stock keeps refreshing over time, so you may not find them in their inventory all the time.

As the items reset after every in-game day, you may need to wait and recheck with the merchants once you have exhausted all the sinister clothes from the market.

Sinister Cloth can be used to craft the following items in Monster Hunter Wilds:

  • Death Stench α Armor Set
  • Felyne Deathgear Hood α
  •  Felyne Deathgear Cowl α
  • Felyne Deathgear Scythe α

The Death Stench armor set consists of five gears that you must craft individually:

  • Death Stench Grip α
  • Death Stench Muscle α
  • Death Stench Brain α
  • Death Stench Bowels α
  • Death Stench Heel α

You need five Sinister Cloth pieces to craft the entire Death Stench armor set, therefore, you would be required to have 50 Ancient Wyvern Coins.

The Death Stench armor set is a must-have in Monster Hunter Wilds as it gives you a staggering 220 Defence points and gives an intimidating look to your character.
