The first expansion of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla called the Wrath of the Druids is all set to release on May 13, and we have new leaked Ireland locations that we are looking forward to, and you should too.
Coming to all platforms, AC Valhalla: Wrath of the Druids takes Eivor to Ireland, and we are tasked to help unite its contrasting four regions. Along the way, we encounter mythical beasts, ancient cults, and what’s more interesting is we now know what the new locations are and what we can expect.
1. Wrath of the Druids Ireland Locations Uncovered
The gaming community has been rummaging through the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla game files and has found pretty solid leads running from sickle weapons to new outfits. Youtuber andyreloads along with Pedder dig up the Ireland locations and even plotted us a handy map!
The new Wrath of the Druids AC Valhalla expansion map in Ireland will feature Dublin, Meath, Durrow, Longford, Mayo, Donegal, Omagh, Armagh, and Ulster counties, among many more trade posts and forts.
A new location means more monasteries to raid, face bigger and meaner foes, and new abilities! The new expansion pack is looking more promising as the release date comes closer. Still, Ninth century Ireland is a place of inner conflict as its regions are constantly locked in battle. We’ll get to experience firsthand the northerners ruling from Ulster and southerners ruling from the kingdom of Meath. New Locations also mean we’ll get to make more alliances and meet new characters!
2. New Characters and Alliances
I. Bárid mac Ímair
We’ll meet a fellow Norseman, Bárid mac Ímair, the king of Dublin when Vikings controlled it. Interestingly, academics consider Imar and Ivar the boneless to be the same person, but in AC Valhalla, they are two very different characters.
II. Flann Sinna
Eivor enters the storyline of Ireland just as Flann Sinna became the new High-King of Ireland in 876 when Flann’s stepdad died. Even though those before Flann were not so supportive of the Danes, Flann is still more willing to work and fight beside them. This alliance proves to be very helpful as Flann’s reign as High-King was filled with raiding and violence.
