Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has taken your Viking adventures to England and Norway, but it is not the end of it. Ubisoft will be releasing the first expansion DLC called the ‘Wrath of the Druids.’
The open-world RPG Assassin’s Creed Valhalla takes you through the journey of Eivor, and even though the series may have deviated from its original stealth-based assassination roots, it still delivers a strong punch. Here’s everything you need to know about the first major DLC expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
1. Wrath of the Druids DLC Release Date
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s first expansion DLC: The Wrath of the Druids will release on 29th April 2021 for all platforms, sending Eivor to the forests of Ireland to end the tyranny of The Children of Danu, a druidic cult. The DLC will come with the season pass at a price of $39.99/£33.99.
“Journey to Ireland and unravel the mysteries of an ancient druidic cult. Fight your way through haunted forests and dazzling landscapes while gaining influence among Gaelic kings.”
Ubisoft
The new DLC’s release date is a bit later than the gaming community expected, but it’s always refreshing to see new content being pumped into the game. Although, the update will not be free to play and people with the season pass will have the upper hand.
2. AC Valhalla Wrath of the Druids DLC Price
The new DLC ‘Wrath of the Druids’ will be available as part of the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Season Pass, which can be bought for $39.99/£33.99.
If you already own the Gold or the Ultimate edition, then the season is included by default, and you need not worry about purchasing the DLC as it will be included too. The season pass is a worthy investment as it also includes the future second expansion called ‘Siege of Paris.’
3. What to Expect from the Wrath of Druids DLC Pack
In the new expansion pack ‘Wrath of the Druids’, AC Valhalla will take Eivor to Ireland to face a cult of Druids, known as ‘The Children of Danu’’.
Things we will be seeing in the new DLC for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Wrath of Druids:
- Ireland, a brand new region
- An ancient Druidic Cult
- Gaelic Kings and their kingdoms
- Forest filled fighting environment
The significant addition will be the new region of Ireland, where we may establish and shift influences once again while hunting down a mystic cult set in a world of Gaelic kings! It would be fun to take a break from the shenanigans in Europe and engage in the jungle warfare of Ireland.
