Assassin’s Creed Valhalla allows players to freely modify Eivor’s hairstyles and tattoos from a wide variety of options. However, due to a recently emerged glitch, players cannot interact with Tove, a tattoo artist and barber in Ravensthorpe.
1. What is the Tove Bug in AC Valhalla?
When visiting Tove, a tattoo artist, to get a new tattoo design/hairstyle, players will not be able to interact with her. No matter which button you press, intercommunication with Tove won’t be possible.
When outside the premises of her shop, you will hear Tove greet Eivor, and that’s it.
This glitch can get annoying as it may prevent players from designing Eivor as per their inclinations, when in Ravensthorpe.
2. How to fix the Tove Bug in AC Valhalla?
As of now, no fix is out when it comes to the Tove bug in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Players can try loading a previous save, but there is no guarantee this action will solve anything.
It is believed that the recently released 1.1.1 update gave birth to this glitch. Therefore, it seems that all we can do now is wait for Ubisoft to take this matter into its own hands and release a permanent fix.

Initially, the game already has a long set of hairstyles for Eivor, but this mod allows the protagonist to sport the cool hairstyles that NPCs wear.
Furthermore, you can adjust Eivor’s body proportion. Basically, this mod allows the fashionista in you to go crazy!
4. Tips and Warnings Related to Eivor Customizer Mod
- Assassin’s Creed does not have a history of supporting mods. Therefore, remember to save your game before installing the Eivor Customizer.
- A lot of hairstyles might not be compatible with the choice of your headgear. Thus, the hair might clip through outfits.
- Adjusting Eivor’s body can also affect combat and cutscenes as these variations were not thought about by Ubisoft when making Eivor.
