Assassin’s Creed Mirage Patch 1.04 released, patch notes revealed

Assassin’s Creed Mirage was released on October 5th. Since its launch, it has gone to become Ubisoft’s most profitable title till date, thanks to the commendable work by Ubisoft Bordeaux.

In the short period since launch, Ubisoft Bordeaux has released Patch 1.04 for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which fixes a lot of glitches and bugs in quests and otherwise. The patch aims to improve the game’s general stability.

While most of the bugs in Mirage are not game-breaking, such prompt response on the part of the developers is commendable. The bugs are mainly associated with the oddity in animation involving NPC animations.

The main gameplay fixes are that elevators in 9th-Century Baghdad do not kill Basim, shards are now awarded properly, enemies take adequate damage when falling, auto-loot works for all kinds of kills, and when using the Sand Sword perk, Basim will heal properly when killing an enemy.

There was also a recurring issue of Basim getting killed by two fatal damages from two separate enemies at the same time while wearing the Sand Outfit. This has also been fixed.

The disappearance of the Quest marker after saving/loading has also been fixed. The English option now only appears once, and the misplaced/wrong UI has also been improved.

To improve the immersive experience, NPC boats will continue to sail along with a drinking animation that has been fixed. There were several issues related to quests that were fixed as well.

NPC detection is improved in the “Gilded Butterfly Quest.” The exclusive Forty Thieves DLC Quest items are now available in-game. Eavesdrop lines also work correctly.

Issues with the Baghdad Bound, Den of the Beast, To Catch a Demo, The Great Symposium, and the Serpent’s Nest were also fixed.

Basim and Nehal’s unnatural animation and the enemies’ unnatural poses were fixed. Animations for takedowns have been polished further, along with optimizations for ultrawide and multiscreen modes.

All these changes will make AC: Mirage more enjoyable. Fans have been enjoying travelling back to the roots of the Assassin’s Creed Franchise in AC: Mirage, which brings back old stealth and parkour elements.
