A3! is a mobile game franchise, it is a role-playing game consisting of characters who are actors from an agency named Mankai Company. It was later adapted into an anime series. A3! is short for “Act! Addict! Actors!“.
The visual portrays the “Autumn troupe” of the anime:

- Nanao Taichi by Hama Kento
- Fushimi Omi by Kumagai Kentarou
- Furuichi Sakyou by Hose Yuichi
The first two arcs of the anime is A3! Season Spring and Summer. The first arc of Season Spring aired on 13th January. However, due to delays and production issues resulting from the pandemic, the anime was rebroadcast from episode 1 on 6th April.
Season Summer arc was released on 18th May and consists of 7 episodes. A3! Season Autumn and Winter are delayed amidst coronavirus concerns.
Keisuke Shinohara is directing the anime under studio P.A.Works and Studio 3Hz. It is written by Naoki Hayashi and airs on Tokyo MX. Funimation acquired the rights of the anime and is streaming the English subbed and dubbed versions.
The A3! game was a huge success, which led to it being adapted into anime and stageplays. A series of stageplay has been running in Japan under the name, Mankai Stage 3. After the huge success of the stageplay, it has been divided into four productions according to the seasons.
The official website of the A3! anime revealed a new visual for the anime’s Autumn arc.
We hope to see new talents from the new characters in the Autumn and Winter arc. As it is the sequel to the Spring and Summer arc, some similarities in plotline will remain, but new actors will add a dash of freshness to the anime.

A3! Season Autumn and Winter is the sequel to A3! Season Spring and Summer anime. The anime as been adapted from the A3! mobile game.
Mankai Company is an agency for actors. Izumi Tachibana finds herself with the responsibility to revive the company to its lost glory after it sank under debts. She has to recruit new talents and bloom them into actors to save the company.
