A Whisker Away releases new PV, Reveals Ending theme by Yorushika

Who doesn’t look forward to a good old high school romance? A heart-warming experience that becomes a cherished memory. But you can’t have a romance if the person you love doesn’t notice you. So how far are you willing to go?

Twin Engine streamed a new promotional video for Studio Colorido’s A Whisker Away. This is the studio’s second feature-length anime film.

The promotional video on Twin Engine’s website revealed the film’s ending theme song – “Usotsuki” by Yorushika. They will also perform the main theme, Hana ni Bōrei.

Yorushika also tweeted that their song “Usotsuki” has been chosen as the ending theme for the song.

The new song “Yoitsuki” by Yorushika has been decided as the end song of the animated movie “I want to cry I wear a cat”.

It will be distributed worldwide on Netflix from 6/18 next week.

About A Whisker Away

A Whisker Away is Studio Colorido’s second feature-length film. It is set to release on Netflix on June 18, 2020. Junichi Sato will be directing the film with a screenplay by Mari Okada.

Set in Tokoname, Aichi, the film focuses on finding one’s true self. The film revolves around Miyo “Muge” Sasaki, who is an unusual second-year high school girl. She is in love with Kento Hinode, who barely notices her. Miyo discovers a magical mask that lets her transform into a cat. The mask allows her to get close to Hinode. But soon, the boundaries between herself and the cat begin to fade.
