Shin’s feelings for Emma are now revealed, but he still cannot bring himself to tell her. Shin will have to be the one to tell Emma about Itsuomi’s new relationship as well because he has known her for just as long, and he is the only one who can handle her.

Shin has already waited so long, so he will probably wait for Emma to get over Itsuomi, which will be hard because she has also loved Itsuomi for a very long time. It will be interesting to see how their dynamic will change and whether their relationship will work out or not.

3. Recap of episode 8

Shin asks if he has met Yuki before, and Itsuomi reminds him that he saw her in Kyouya’s bar but was drunk. Shin calls them in and notices how Itsuomi prioritizes Yuki’s comfort. Yuki and Itsuomi watch Shin’s CD collection, which prompts Shin to ask what kind of music Yuki listens to.

Itsuomi reveals that Yuki cannot hear, and Shin wonders how they communicate. Shin realizes why Itsuomi was learning sign language. The more Itsuomi tells Shin about his and Yuki’s relationship and how they ended up dating, the more surprised he is.

Shin asks Yuki if she can read his lips, and she nods, which makes him question if she is in love with Itsuomi. Yuki gets flustered. Shin is happy for Itsuomi, and Yuki is glad that her feelings got through to him.

Shin decides to tell Emma and worries about how he will minimize the damage, as Emma has always been in love with Itsuomi. Itsuomi asks what Shin plans on doing, but he knows nothing will change as they have been friends too long. Shin wishes them well.

Itsuomi asks Yuki about the misunderstanding from earlier when she misread his lips. Itsuomi decides to make a signal, so this doesn’t happen again. He chooses to pinch Yuki’s cheek to signal that he wants to kiss her and wants her to do the same.

Shin calls Kyouya for advice about finally making a move on Emma, surprising Kyouya. Emma meets up with Shin in his salon, and Shin decides to break the news while doing her hair.

Shin thinks back to how he, Emma, and Itsuomi became friends. He remembers when Emma shared his earphones and then lent him a CD. He is also reminded of when he did her hair and how he got rejected before he even confessed because Emma has always liked Itsuomi.

Shin confronted Itsuomi about not going out with Emma, and Itsuomi gave a vague answer. Shin figured that the two of them would eventually go out and tried to move on by dating other girls. However, that never worked out.

Shin cannot bring himself to reveal the truth to Emma. Meanwhile, Yuki and Itsuomi plan a daytime boot camp with Kyouya and Rin.
