2. Episode 4 Speculation
Emma forces her way into Itsuomi’s house, but he does not fall for her antics. He lets her stay over but leaves himself. Now that Emma has spotted the sign language guide, her curiosity will be piqued, and she might find out about Yuki.
Oushi is also annoyed at Yuki and Itsuomi’s growing distance. He has started learning sign language because of his sister but continued for Yuki. It is evident that he has feelings for Yuki even though he is not good at expressing them.
We will see more of Emma and Itsuomi as well as Yuki and Oushi’s dynamic. Yuki falls more for Itsuomi after every moment they spend together, and it does not seem one-sided. However, Itsuomi himself does not seem to realize it.
Rin and Kyouya are texting constantly, and Rin is much less nervous around him. They have also settled into a comfortable dynamic and hopefully get together officially.
3. Recap of episode 3
Yuki is trying her best to make a sign language guide to help Itsuomi learn. Rin and Yuki revisit Kyouka’s café. Yuki’s hearing aids ring, which she explains happens when they are not worn properly.
Itsuomi asks how much Yuki can hear, and she replies that it is one big jumbled noise. She cannot hear anything without hearing aids since birth. Kyouka kicks Itsuomi away for being too intrusive.
Yuki gives Itsuomi the sign language guide, and Rin praises her. Itsuomi tries learning to sign his name, and Yuki helps him, noticing how long his fingers are. Instead of a guide, Itsuomi wants Yuki to teach him in person.
When Yuki looks down mid-conversation, Itsuomi lifts her head, worried. Kyouka is stunned at his actions while Rin warns him not to touch Yuki suddenly as it startles her. Itsuomi apologizes, but Yuki is too over in her head with her feelings for him.
Shin and Emma visit the café, drunk and enthusiastic. Yuki is curious about them, and Kyouya reveals they are Itsuomi’s school friends. Emma clings to Itsuomi, and Yuki is frustrated about not understanding their relationship.
Kyouya reassures Yuki that Itsuomi and Emma will never get together. However, that makes their relationship seem even more special to Yuki. She doesn’t see Itsuomi for a while and asks him if he’s still in Japan. Itsuomi asks her to meet up.
Oushi spots Yuki and tells her not to meet with Itsuomi. However, Yuki rushes to meet Itsuomi, and he buys her a drink. He also gives her a foreign coin from Croatia.
Itsuomi asks Yuki to teach sign language and explains how he felt his world flip over when he first saw her use it. Yuki signs that she wants to get to know him more, and he says she’s ‘very cute’ in German, but she does not realize.
Itsuomi walks Yuki home, and she asks him about his relationship with Emma. Itsuomi also asks her about her relationship with Oushi, and she tells him he’s just a childhood friend.

It’s a lighthearted rom-com about Yuki Itose, a deaf university student, who meets Itsuomi Nagi, a multilingual friend of her best friend.
