On Wednesday, the April issue of Shogakukan’s Monthly Coro Coro Comics magazine published a nine-page preview of Kei Yamadaka’s manga adaptation of the new anime. The manga will first feature in the magazine’s May issue on April 14th.
Additionally, the new anime will premiere on the same day with a one-hour special episode. It will follow two new heroes, Liko and Roy, accompanied by Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, characters from the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games.

About Pokemon Horizons: The Series
Pokemon Horizons: The Series is a new project in the Pokemon Franchise that features a whole new story after the conclusion of the journey of the previous protagonist, Ash Ketchum. The anime will adapt elements from the game Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet.
Liko from the Paldea region and Roy from the Kanto region join the Rising Volt Tacklers led by Friede and Captain Pikachu. They are joined by Orla, Mollie, Murdock, and Ludlow. Together, they explore the world in an airship.
On their way, they will encounter a trio called the Explorers with Amethio, Zir, and Conia as its members, and Nidothing, a popular streamer.
