A Hint at Megumi’s Survival – Jujutsu Kaisen Ch 258 Raw Scans, Spoilers

The previous installment of Jujutsu Kaisen had set the stage for our protagonist, Itadori Yuji. Fans were excited that he would finally get an opportunity to shine. Everything was looking good for him until a major twist occurred. 

Chapter 258 will be released on April 28, however, spoilers are out. Things seem to have started to go in Sukuna’s favor as he manifests his domain expansion. 

Megumi’s Hope of Survival

Chapter 258 starts with the story of Gojo’s encounter. Gojo was hit by two Black Flashes, but he responded by using a unique version of the Reverse Cursed Technique (RCT) after he regained consciousness. 

At the same time, it was expected that Sukuna would heal his injuries, but Yuji’s continuous barrage of seven Black Flashes prevented Sukuna from recovering his RCT output.

Yuji’s persistent attacks in the soul’s domain, a notable weakness, have opened up a potential path for Megumi’s survival.

Sukuna Manifests the Malevolent Shrine 

Sukuna surprises everyone by manifesting his Malevolent Shrine domain expansion in Heian form. The domain is more powerful than ever, easily cutting through everything without losing strength. Hakari urges the group to master RCT and its defensive tactics, and Choso assures everyone that he and his brothers can handle the situation. 

Choso asks how users replenish blood during regeneration, but Hakari and Yuta don’t answer. However, Shoko reveals her technique of transmuting Cursed Energy into blood, which Choso also knows. He suggests that Yuji assimilate his other brothers to acquire this ability. 

Choso also explains that RCT won’t negatively affect their unique physiologies, and he requests assistance with RCT and body-swapping techniques.

The Truth of Yuji’s Training Session

Kusakabe explains how Sukuna’s possession has affected Yuji’s body, giving him knowledge of Jujutsu specific to a certain level. They start training sessions focused on soul-swapping, with Kusakabe teaching Yuji the fundamentals of Cursed Energy manipulation and the construction of basic domains.

Meanwhile, Shoko shares her unique ability to transform Cursed Energy into blood, which Choso also possesses. He suggests that Yuji assimilate his other brothers to acquire this ability.

Choso further explains that their exceptional nature means that using the Reverse Cursed Technique (RCT) won’t significantly affect their bodies. He is looking for someone knowledgeable in RCT and body-swapping to help him.
