Out of the numerous locations added in Shadow of the Erdtree, there are certain which might not pose much significance in the plotline. Rather these locations are more of a treat, where players can acquire collectibles such as Ruins. Here, one can find hidden weapons, armor, and Furnace Golems.
There are four Ruins in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree:
- Moorth Ruins
- Temple Town Ruins
- Scorched Ruins
- Ruins of Unte
Moorth Ruins
Begin at the Highroad Cross Site of Grace. Take the road leading north and keep going until you reach a divide. Head down the path to your right.
There will be a few Messmer Soldiers and Black Knights on the way. Proceed until you reach the Moorth Ruins.

Temple Town Ruins
Start at the Moorth Ruins. Head northeast and look for a cave by the river. Enter the cave and keep going until you see Gravebirds. Carefully, walk by the left wall and go west. A Site of Grace will be shortly in front of you. The Temple Town Ruins is just southwest from there.

Scorched Ruins
At the Gravesite Plain Site of Grace, head northeast atop Torrent.
On the way, you will cross a stone statue. Beware, a Curseblade will attack you and trigger your battle. After defeating the humanoid, look for a ruined building somewhere far off. That’s the Scorched Ruins.

Ruins of Unte
Start at the Site of Grace near Storehouse First Floor. Go down the elevator and defeat the Fire Knight stationed there. Take the ladder down the bridge and head inside the waterfall beside.
There should be another ladder which will take you to a room with a fake wall. Go through it and you will find a stone coffin in front of you. Interact with it to reach the Recluses River in Scadu Altus. Head east and you will reach your destination.
There are two Furnace Golems here. Defeat them to earn rewards.
