The chapter starts with a scene where the First-years rant about when they became interested in Bakugou and Shoto (At the sports festival, war, etc). Iida interrupts them and says that following them around isn’t good and that they haven’t recovered fully from the war. The Girls apologize for this.

Shiro talks about how he thought Bakugou actually liked attention. Sero says that the attention they got was too much. Kaminari is jealous of this situation. Deku adds that the girls have always ignored Bakugou, so he must not be used to this kind of situation. Shinso finds it surprising, but Mineta disagrees.

A first-year boy expresses how impressed he was seeing Deku fighting in the war and wants to become like him. This leaves Deku in a state where he doesn’t know how to react, as it reminds him of Spinner’s face. Ochako witnesses all these with a mysterious expression.

The Teachers’ Room and Reconstruction Area

The manga then moves onto the Teachers’ room and shows Mic talking about 2-A getting another call for an interview, but Aizawa refuses. Even though Ectoplasm says that some students like Mineta might want the spotlight, Aizawa corrects that not everyone wants that, and he wants to respect them.

The panel then shows the students sent to a reconstruction area, where they have to work with Fat, Jeanist, and Edgeshot. As they start cleaning the wreckage, Bakugou asks Edgeshot whether he plans to stay this way forever. Edgeshot tells him not to worry as he even has his little thread hands.

Bakugou continues the conversation by asking if he won’t return to normal, but Edgeshot replies that he plans to become better than before, making Bakugou smile.

Life After War

The civilians serve food to the heroes. One among them talks about his plantation and how it got destroyed in the war, to which Deku apologizes. The civilian corrects himself, saying that he was not blaming them, but rather, after seeing the heroes fighting, they felt motivated.

Instead of letting the heroes do everything, they wanted to do something on their own. The heroes thank the civilians for the food and confirm that they will finish cleaning today.

The Cementoss’ Class’ bus arrives which makes Aizawa confused. Cementoss clarifies this by saying that the first years wanted to apologize for the mess and makeup. The boy who respects Deku says that they wanted to help even though they had just entered the school and didn’t have their license.

The civilians find it curious to see how other people are influenced by the efforts. Ochako says that she is relieved to see everyone being optimistic. Deku and Tsuya look worried, and Ochako runs off, saying she must fetch more food.

Ochako

Ochako can be seen eating an onigiri with a fake smile. We also get to see a close up on Deku’s face. The students are not forced to stay in the dorms. Tsuyu says that Ochako hasn’t responded to the messages after she left for home.

A flashback is shown of the reporter’s camera running out of battery when the Twice clones vanished along with a narration by Ochako. The narration says-” on that day, our conclusion wasn’t caught on camera.” Ochako is watching from the hill (from Chapter 342).

She says that the battle is finally over, and things have returned to normal, which is good. She wants to be optimistic and loves seeing the smile on others. She doesn’t want to ruin the mood because she is reminded of Toga, who cried and smiled, leading her to suppress her pain. She places a hand on her stomach as she thinks about this and starts crying. Just then, Deku appears shouting “Uraraka” ending the chapter.
