1. How to get the Purple Obsidian Fragments in Genshin Impact?
Purple Obsidian Fragments can only be acquired from precious or luxurious chests in Natlan, or Warrior Challenges, which are primarily located within the territory of the Masters of the Night-Wind.
Unfortunately, these fragments are a chance item, which means there is no guarantee that opening a precious or luxurious chest will give you a confirmed Purple Obsidian. Moreover, you cannot do anything to increase your chances of getting a fragment while opening the chests. So, you must try your luck with as many chests as possible.
After acquiring three Purple Obsidian Fragments, go to your inventory and select three of the fragments to craft a Purple Obsidian Ring by clicking on the craft button in the bottom right of the screen.
2. Warrior Challenges in Masters of the Night-Wind Territory
Completing a challenge in Masters of the Nigh-Wind territory can grant you a Precious Chest as a reward, you may get a Purple Obsidian Fragment by opening it. However, as mentioned above it will still be based on your luck whether you unbox a fragment or not.
There are a total of three warrior challenges in Nigh-Wind territory:
- Forward! and Forward Again!
- Successful Collection
- Leap to the Park
Completing them will reward you with a precious chest each.
3. How to use Purple Obsidian Ring in Genshin Impact?
Purple Obsidian Ring can be used to gain entrance to the Masters of the Night-Wind’s Secret Trove in Genshin Impact. This secret trove has a barrier that prevents the outsiders from entering, but the Purple Obsidian Ring removes this barrier.
Masters of the Night-Wind’s Secret Trove is filled with unimaginable treasures including various consumables and items.
This trove is located just beneath the Statue of Seven, southeast of the Master of the Night-Wind tribe. You can directly teleport to the statue and drop down in the northwest direction to find a glowing barrier blocking a cave next to some wooden platforms.
Just use the Purple Obsidian Ring on the glowing barrier and then all the treasure is yours to keep!
