The protagonist of S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl, Strelok, is a legendary character to say the least. Here’s a summary of Strelok’s history in S.T.A.L.K.E.R games.
What happened to Strelok in S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl?
Strelok survives a deadly Death truck crash in Shadow of Chernobyl. The game takes him to the Zone. Just like any other STALKER, Strelok works closely with scientists, researchers, militants, rebels, and many more.
With the support of a few other Stalkers, Strelok eventually finds himself facing off against the Monolith. The battle ensues such that there is an open door for future titles in the series.
Strelok in Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat
Strelok is the antagonist in Clear Sky. It is quite refreshing to see him in a different role. You would be at a crossroad deciding whether Strelok is better off as the hero or the villain.
In Call of Pripyat, Strelok has very little screen time. He does have an important role in evacuating Pripyat alongside the military. Players can choose whether to have him around as an advisor or kill him.
What role does Strelok play in S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Heart of Chornobyl?
Sadly, Strelok appears as an NPC in STALKER 2. However, you will fight him during the Legends of the Dark mission. Skif will also enjoy several conversations with Strelok during the course of the mission.
Legends of the Dark can be unofficially termed as the Strelok mission in Heart of Chornobyl. Apart from that, there are only a few instances where Strelok appears. All of these appearances come as dialogue choices.
