Xbox fans have a lot to look forward to this year. With Microsoft having acquired Zenimax Media, Bethesda Game Studios is now part of the tech giant’s team. This means we will see a lot more exclusive Xbox content from Bethesda. This will be happening very soon as the rumor mill has stated that both Microsoft and Bethesda will reveal five brand new, first-party AAA Xbox games this Summer.
This comes from the reputable German Microsoft insider Klobrille, who wrote a thread about Microsoft’s Xbox Game Studios on the Xbox Era forums a few hours ago. Four new titles were announced during Microsoft’s Xbox Series X Showcase back in July of last year, including Obsidian’s Avowed, Playground Games’ Fable, Turn 10’s new Forza Motorsport installment, and State of Decay 3 from Undead Labs. However, this year, Klobrille says they already know about five new AAA titles from Microsoft’s first-party studios. Some of these titles can be expected more than others.
For this year including XGSP and Bethesda, so far, I do think I already know about 5 completely new, AAA titles being announced this Summer. Some more expected than others.

Klobrille also points out that, currently, plans for the announcements are still shifting.
Plans are still fluctuating though. At the end of the day, I think it is a fair expectation that gameplay trailers and/or demos should have a bigger presence at least for the already announced things coming this and next year.

As we already know, Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, Bethesda’s Starfield, and Age of Empires IV are both expected to make appearances during Microsoft’s online E3 press briefing scheduled for next month. This is going to be a joint press briefing between Microsoft and Bethesda. We’re hoping we see more regarding the reboot of the Perfect Dark series, fable, and Rare’s Everwild.
