343 Industries has revealed that Halo Infinite will be getting a major update, complete with a networking overhaul, better security, Easy Anti-Cheat, weapon adjustments, and much more. The update will be available on March 19th so mark your calendars.
According to the developer, the update is designed keeping in mind the multiple requests made by fans. One of the key objectives is to improve multiplayer matches. Hence, the team decided to do a complete overhaul of the game’s networking model.
The upcoming update will address complaints dating back to Halo Infinite’s launch. According to 343 Industries, players should notice a better and more consistent multiplayer experience.
343 Industries are finally adding Easy Anti-Cheat to Halo Infinite. This will help the system combat cheaters by monitoring players’ game files. It will now be much easier to detect fraudulent activity on Halo Infinite.
Since Squad Battle is a fan-favorite, the developers have decided to give it a refresh. You can now choose from seven new maps made by Forgers.

Halo Infinite is an upcoming first-person shooter game developed by 343 Industries and published by Xbox Game Studios.
It is the sixth entry in the series and serves as a re-imagining of the franchise, with new features, mechanics and gameplay elements. As for the story, it is going to be a direct continuation of Master Chief’s story from Halo 5: Guardians, in his “greatest adventure yet to save humanity!”
The game was originally cited to be released alongside the upcoming Xbox Series consoles but has since been delayed to 2021.
