It felt like the time for Elbaf to start, yet we are at a halt as other interesting things happen in Chapter 1126 of One Piece. It also contains a twist that will keep you awake at night!
What happens in Chapter 1126 of One Piece?
Chapter 1126 contains a fight between the Red Hair Pirates and the Barto Club. It ends with the Barto Club losing and Shanks using the opportunity to test Bartolomeo’s loyalty to Luffy. Koby escapes Blackbeard and Garp gets captured instead. Finally, Luffy, Nami, and others vanish into the sea.
Other than the Red Hair Pirates crushing the Barto Club and the test of loyalty given by Shanks, the focus of Chapter 1126 lies in the Hachinosu island, with Blackbeard angry at Pizarro for Koby escaping.
As Shanks demolishes the Barto Club, he gives Bartolomeo an option if he wishes to survive. It is to poison Straw Hat Pirate Captain Monkey D. Luffy within a month. Shanks even gives Bartolomeo the poison himself.
Bartolomeo and his Barto Club had joined the Straw Hat Fleet long ago. Bartolomeo is seen proving his loyalty to Luffy as he gulps down the vial of poison himself. To his surprise, there is no poison, and he is completely fine.
It turns out that Shanks was playing the villain for fun and testing Bartolomeo’s loyalty towards Luffy. It seems like he was just concerned and looking out for the cheeky pirate.
Pizarro was probably the only one who could restrain Koby, he is regretful and angry with this fact when he congratulates Kuzan for the capture of Garp.
Monkey D. Garp is a way more valuable resource even if just for negotiation, since he is famous across the boundless pirate seas.
The scene shifts again to show Luffy and the Straw Hats sailing towards Elbaf. We see suddenly that Thousand Sunny vanishes into thin air. Luffy, Zoro, Nami and a few others follow suit as the rest of the Straw Hats are baffled completely.
Dorry and Brogy Want to Duke it Out on Elbaf
Dorry and Brogy end up destroying all the weapons they use. Thsi is a throwback tp seven years ago when they destroyed their weapons trying to defeat the Island Eater.
After losing their weapons, they can only do hand-to-hand combat and punch each other to fight. This leads to them not being satisfied and their battles stopping halfway.
Oimo and Kashii convince the giants to resume their epic battle on Elbaf where they can fight to their heart’s content.
Blackbeard Gets Garp
Over at Hachinosu, Teach, who had just returned, was in a raging fit as Koby, the marine they captured, had escaped. While he took his anger out on Pizzaro for this, he, in turn, congratulated Kuzan for capturing Garp, who had come to Koby’s rescue.
Garp is way more valuable an asset than Koby, so Blackbeard is not disappointed at the overall outcome of the events.
Luffy and the Straw Hats Disappear
After this, the timeline shifts back to two days after the incident at Egghead Island got over. The Straw Hats and Lilith were on their way to Elbaf Island. However, a mysterious tragedy struck them, and several of the crew, including Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Nami, Chopper, Usopp, and Thousand Sunny, suddenly disappeared.
The remaining members of the Straw Hats and Lilith were still aboard the ship sailing towards Elbaf. However, all of them were left in shock due to the incident. The chapter ended with Nami waking up in the middle of a strange, unfamiliar room.
She is also wearing Viking style clothing maybe Elbaf specialty and she says that she has just woken up from drinking too much.
