The Finals season 3 features the new arena Kyoto 1568 set in Feudal Japan. True to its theme, the map contains cherry blossom trees, thick bamboo coverings, a canal, a couple of overbridges, medieval Japan-style wooden houses, and a massive temple.

The buildings and their environment are destructible which looks really cool when engaged in intense combat with skilled players. Overall, the new arena seems like a fun addition to the game.

The Finals is adding a new 5v5 ranked game mode called Terminal Attack where teams take turns attacking and defending a target.

It is a best-of-7 game mode, so the margin of error is minimal. The teams are provided either the Attacker or Defender side at the start of the map.

The role of the Attackers is to deliver the Decryption Key to one of the terminals and ensure the transfer is complete. At the same time, the Defenders have to prevent the Attacking team from completing their mission by defending the terminal.

3. New Weapons and Gadgets in The Finals Season 3
