Jujutsu Kaisen and One Punch Man Go on an Unexpected Hiatus

Yusuke Murata’s One Punch Man has joined Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia in the list of long running shonen manga that are going on unexpected breaks. While Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia are set to resume soon, the hiatus for One Punch Man is expected to be longer.

blog on publisher Shueisha’s Tonari no Young Jump manga website announced that One Punch Man manga would go on a two-month hiatus. The reason behind the break is said to be ‘various adjustments and preparations,’ the series will return in late August.

Moreover, Jujutsu Kaisen went on an unexpected break and has been on a two-week hiatus. The manga was scheduled to resume after the two-week break, but it seems like the break has been extended by another week, adding a layer of suspense for the fans.

Since chapter 262 of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga was released two weeks ago, fans have eagerly awaited the next release. The chapter was accompanied by the announcement of a two-week break, with the expectation of a return in Weekly Shonen Jump’s Issue 31.

However, the manga is noticeably absent from the preview for the upcoming issue, leaving fans in suspense about a possible extension of the break. It’s important to note that as of now, no official statement has been made to clarify this.

My Hero Academia is currently on a two-week break. One Piece was also on a break earlier this month but is set to return with a new chapter this week.
