Shadow of the Erdtree has so much new stuff! It really is a gala for the Tarnished (apart from the killing part of course). The Smithing Talisman is one of the new Talismans featured in Elden Ring’s latest expansion. It is inscribed with a smithscript and amplifies weapon-throwing attacks. How wonderful would it be to get our hands on this talisman!
Where is the Smithing Talisman?
The Smithing Talisman can be found in the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past. It will be nestled in the hands of a decaying corpse. There’s also a Site of Grace nearby to allow a moment of respite.
How to obtain the Smithing Talisman?
Begin at the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past Site of Grace. Head inside the ruined building and cross the bridge. Turn left and you will find a lever near the lamp by the wall. Pull it and drop down.
Proceed into the tunnel and go to the next room. Head straight then turn right to step into another tunnel. Beware, there will be Giant Golems waiting for you here. The exposed crystal on their backs is a vulnerable spot so hit it until the Golem finally dies.
At the end of the tunnel, you will find a ladder propped to your right. Climb it and go to the next room.
Head over to the adjoining room and use the broken ledges to get to the top. Look around for a suspended platform. There should be a room to its left.
The rotten corpse with the Smithing Talisman is in this room. Take your goods but don’t be so hasty in making your exit!
Before you can exit the room, seven Fire Blobs will come at you. Defeat them to safely make it out.
