Iris of Grace is a unique consumable item introduced in Shadow of Erdtree DLC of Elden Ring.
There are very few known locations of Iris of Grace in the game so far. Therefore, finding it in the massive Shadow Realm within The Lands Between in the Elden Ring is not easy.
1. Where to find the Iris of Grace in Elden Ring Shadow of Erdtree?
Iris of Grace can be found:
- Near the statue of Marika in the Tree-Worship Passage below Shadow Keep in the Church District; and
- On a Stone Platform in the Living Jar Hall beneath the Specimen Storehouse in the Shadow Keep.
2. Finding Marika’s Statue Below Shadow Keep
Assuming you have already reached the Church District, your main goal is to lower the water level and make your way to the Ulcerated Tree Spirit.
Head straight on the roofs from the Church District Entrance grace site.
Walk straight till you reach the path end and take a left. Now, jump down on a narrow stone bridge from the large cavity in one of the roofs, and make your way to the west.
Take another leap further down, you will encounter a few enemies, ignore them, and keep following the path till you find a small arch gateway and a ladder.
Now, climb up the ladder and turn the giant metallic wheel to un-flood the area.
Get back down and make your way further down by entering the arch gateway.
Walk to the east and interact with the Shadow Keep grace site.
Now, head westwards to find a massive stone building. Make your way straight from the entrance then take a right. Here you will find two stairways. There is a stone elevator behind a gate in the middle of the stairways.
Descend down from this elevator and you will find yourself in a cave. Make your way to the end of this cave to reach a long narrow bridge made out of wooden planks.
Cross this bridge to find a giant statue of Marika. The Iris of Grace is right in front of this statue. Go ahead and collect it.
3. Finding the Living Jar Hall in Shadow Keep
The Specimen Storehouse is located northeast of the Shadow Keep Maingate site of grace. Head to the Specimen Storehouse first floor.
Once you reach the aforementioned grace site. Go through the gate on the left and descend via the wooden elevator. After reaching down, head out of the gateway and take the entrance on the left to find a balcony.
Jump off the balcony to find an elevated stone platform under it. The Iris of Grace will be on this platform.
4. How to use the Iris of Grace in the Elden Ring Shadow of Erdtree?
The Iris of Grace can be given to the Fire Knight Queelign to receive Fire Knight Queelign Spirit Ash, and to Swordhand of Night Jolán to receive the Swordhand Of Night Jolán Spirit Ash.
There are specific questlines that will lead you to these two NPCs and they reward you with these spirit ashes for completing the quests.
Additionally, there is another item called Iris of Occultation, which can be given to these two to receive different sets of weapons. However, if you tend to use spirit ashes often, then it is recommended that you give them the Iris of Grace.
5. About Elden Ring
Elden Ring is the next major title to be released by FromSoftware, the developers of Demon’s Souls, Bloodborne and the Dark Souls franchise. Elden Ring is set to release on the February 25th, 2022.
The game is set in a world known as The Lands Between. Players will take control of a Tarnished to explore these lands and uncover the secrets it holds. The game is an open-world style title with emphasis on combat and traversal. There is also a multiplayer component, along players to summon others for co-operative play, or to be invaded for PvP encounters.
