Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 is an exciting third-person shooter game where you take on the role of a powerful superhuman Space Marine and fight against the enemy forces. However, you are not alone in this mission. 

The game allows you to co-op with various multiplayer modes that you can enjoy. However, it is not available immediately, as you first need to complete a tutorial mission.  

1. How to play multiplayer on Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2?

Players can unlock co-op or multiplayer by completing the introductory tutorial mission and reporting to Captain Acheran. After doing so, a message will pop up confirming that online play is available now, giving you access to different multiplayer features.

The first mission you need to complete isn’t very brief. If you’re eager to join the multiplayer action swiftly, you can skip it by pausing the game and choosing “Skip Intro.”

However, you should complete the tutorial without skipping to better understand the game’s combat system. 

2. How to invite others in multiplayer mode?

Follow the steps below to invite others in multiplayer mode on Space Marine 2:

• After unlocking multiplayer, use the ‘Edit Squad’ option. 
• Click the ‘Invite Menu’ button.

• Enter the Invite Code or create your Invite Code, which you can share with your friends. 

If you want to change your game mode, you must access the Battle Map via the Strategium or Launch Bay. Two game modes are available: Eternal War (PvP) and Operations ( Solo or co-op).

3. Does Space Marine 2 support crossplay?

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 supports crossplay between PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Players can team up with friends using the multiplayer feature of the game.

Moreover, if your friends are on the same platform as you, you can simply send them an invite through that platform’s regular invitation system.

Warhammer 40,000 Space Marines 2 is a third-person shooter hack and slash developed by Saber Interactive. The gameplay involves fighting Tyranid hordes while interchanging between melee and shooting attacks to defend the Imperium.
