A Quick Guide on How to Obtain “Flame, Grant Me Strength” in Elden Ring

Tarnished One, I see that you seek to strengthen your abilities with this ancient incantation. A powerful tool indeed, but only for those brave enough to wield it.

Flame, Grant Me Strength is a superior incantation of the Fire Monks. It has the capability to create a powerful inner flame that amplifies physical and fire-affiliated attacks, unleashing enhanced combat capabilities. This incantation uniquely spares the caster from its flames and is thus considered forbidden by the Guardians of the Flame.

Heed my words, Mighty Tarnished, and you too shall obtain this power with ease.

The “Flame, Grant Me Strength” incantation in Elden Ring is a powerful spell that boosts both physical and fire-affinity attack power. You can get the Flame, Grant Me Strength incantation early in the game at Fort Gael in Caelid. Be prepared for the hordes of tough enemies guarding it!

Fort Gael is nestled between two regions: South of Limgrave and West of Caelid. You can choose to follow either path to reach this fortified stronghold. When approaching from the West of Caelid, Fort Gael is located between Gaol Cave and Caelid Waypoint Ruins.

For a less challenging approach to Fort Gael, begin from South Limgrave, near the Third Church of Marika Site of Grace. This route is ideal for players who are lower in level or prefer to avoid combat. Follow the path to the south of this Grace Site.

The route leading to Fort Gael is a neatly constructed path bordered by a protective wall made of molten stone, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to know that you’re on the right path. You will arrive at the Fort Gael North Site of Grace, where you can rest before marching ahead.

The journey forward is intensely guarded by powerful Radahn Knights, Soldiers, and Flamethrowers. From this grace site, proceed southward, and Fort Gael will come into view, situated on a cliff in the distance. To avoid battle, use Torrent and sprint past the enemy camps.

You will soon reach the ramp leading to Fort Gael’s main gate. A Radahn Archer atop the fort will target you with purple arrows, so be prepared to move swiftly to avoid his attacks. Upon arriving at the fort, proceed to the left side of the structure.

Following the left path, you’ll encounter two Flame Chariot enemies at the end, guarding an item near a bonfire. You can dismount and sneak past them, then defeat them, or take a risky approach and dash through to grab the item quickly. If you wish to deal with them first, lure one away and defeat it, and then repeat with the second (You can summon a Spirit Ash to aid you in this battle).
