10 Reasons Why Venom 3 Villain “Knull” is Perfect for the MCU

Knull hovers over the multiverse as the most nefarious villain, more powerful than any entity any universe has ever seen. Here’s 10 Reasons Why we think so.

1. A Villain Beyond Worldly Limitations

Knull isn’t a typical villain as you usually see in movies – he’s a literal God. For someone who existed even before the dawn of Universe, Knull earned his stellar reputation among the fans.

Unlike the other villains of MCU, whose threats are limited within the bounds of Earth and specific planets – Knull stands out of all them. He has the potential to create a multiverse chaos in the MCU. The character of Knull gives MCU the features of Thanos and Kang, but in a much gloomier and evil way.

2. Knull’s Symbiotic Military

The love for the Venom is unquestionable in the MCU, but do you know whose hand is there beyond the creation of symbiotes? Yes, your guess is right, it’s Knull. Knull’s relationship with the symbiote race gives him command over these terrifying creatures.

Imagine a situation where are terrifying villains – Venom, Carnage and other symbiotes, some we know and some we don’t, but all of them bowing down to the mighty evil Knull. With this, the MCU’s battles are going to be breathtaking for the fans to watch.

3. A Darker Personality of Thor

Knull’s storyline could be directly traced down into the genesis of Thor’s weapon. Yes, you read that right, it’s the Necrosword.

With Knull’s sinister sway, the coupling of the God of Thunder and the God of Abyss is going to be worth the watch.

4. Knull Amplifies the Cosmic Realm

As evident from the Guardians of the Galaxy to Eternals, the MCU are meticulously taking baby steps in the Cosmic Realm. However, Knull brings the cosmic power with him this time.

His shadowy presence highlights the intent of the MCU to dig deeper into the realm of darkness, evilness, and corruption. With Knull opens the door for a darker cosmic storyline in Phase 5 and beyond.

5. An Upgrade of Venom’s Character

Venom’s character in the MCU has constantly witnessed an upgrade. However, the presence of Knull mandates Venom’s character to confront his roots.

Knull’s relationship with Venom has the potential to create emotional tension. It could be speculated that in the near future, Venom has to push its limits from being an anti-hero to a full-blown savior whose job is to save not only himself, but the entire humanity.

6. Visual Spectacle of Shadows

The extraordinary feature of Knull’s personality is his ability to strike in one of most the devilish manners one could possibly imagine.

From his gloomier black armor and his skill of dark manipulation, Knull’s visual representation on the screen would be nothing less than a cinematic masterpiece.

With so much to talk about Knull, the filmmakers have the opportunity to craft an evil character that the MCU has ever witnessed.

7. The Entrance of MCU in Horror Genre via Knull

The MCU has swiftly touched upon the elements of horror with Doctor Strange in Multiverse of Madness. However, with Knull, the MCU is set to enter its foot in the domain of Horror.

With his dreadful power coupled with his eerie influence over the symbiotes and control over darkness, Knull is the perfect villain to carry the franchise to the doorsteps of the Horror genre. Picture a symbiote-infested world, controlled by a dark shadow. It’s a dream come true for every Marvel and comic books fan.

8. Knull’s Connection to the Celestials

The MCU is gradually showing the presence of Celestials, but Knull has his very origin from the beheading of one of them. Knull’s resentment of their light is a crucial part of his storyline and his character, adding more darkness to his role than already present.

The introduction of this horrible guy allows Marvel to revisit the angle of Celestials, going further back in time and tying together the origins of Eternals, Guardians of the Galaxy, the Marvels, and more.

9. The Perfect Nemesis for the Avengers

With the events after the cosmic snap, as Thanos was killed and the multiverse lost its balance, Knull poses the perfect challenge to the Avengers. Knull’s arrival couldn’t arrive at a better time in this new phase of the MCU, when a major supervillain is missed by its fans.

But it must be said, Knull’s threat is arguably more serious than Thanos, which is why new strategies and storylines would have to be adopted by the earth’s mightiest superheroes.

10. Knull Could Redefine Future Marvel Storylines

Knull isn’t just a unique villain because of his cosmic origins and insane powers. He’s most feared also because of his deadly ability to infect both humans and supes. Yep, if that doesn’t set the stage of a higher-than-ever degree of chaos, we don’t know what does.

His dark energy ripples, possible crossovers (maybe even with Galactus), the Celestials and a lot more has the potential to send the multiverse crazy. And in case he dies (if that’s even possible), the negative power vacuum might as well give rise to deadlier creatures.

Final Thoughts

With his literal god-like power, tying to the symbiote lore (that began in Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man 3), and the power to shape the MCU’s future, Knull isn’t just another villain – He’s a game changer.

Venom 3 is all set to introduce an entity we aren’t ready. An entity that’ll leave the fans hanging on the edge of their seats. An entity that might as well shake up the MCU to its very core. Knull is coming, and he’s bringing a deep, dark, unknown energy with him.
